read Linda Woodrows book about them but was unsure what they really look
like and the perch aspect was not clear to me. But you have made it clear.

i soo agree with letting your chickens deweed, and debug a garden. thats
what my idea was, but my hens wont eat ALL the weeds, so i am going to let
my goats roam as well. also, do you buy feed for your hens? or do you grow
your own feed, im planning on feeding my hens a mix of seeds, bugs, worms,
and comfrey, as well as letting them frange. think that would be enough?
