  1. (REP) good , just as long as Obama and his Progressive crew don’t use it to promote their various agendas.

  2. Currently there is no solar energy system technology that can meet the needs of this country. Democrats talk the talk but can’t walk a demonstrable solar system walk. Republicans tell it like it is!

  3. I think most Republicans are for using everything the best way it can be used. Personally this is how I see it. A nuclear power plant can generate as much energy as a solar energy plant the size of the state of Iowa. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use solar. You can use a 12 volt solar lighting system to supplement other stronger methods of generation.

  4. carter(d) warned us . he had solar cells installed on the white house . the first thing reagan(r) did was to have them ripped out . can’t make oil profits if you ain’t using oil .

  5. In reality – Solar Farms are not practical or cost effective – YET!
They need to be subsidized by government. Solar panels only have a 10-20 year life.
When solar panels go below the 8 cent per watt cost – then they will be more cost effective.

Some Democrats don’t want their development or wind Farms.

"AMBOY, Calif. — Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation in Congress on Monday to protect a million acres of the Mojave Desert in California by scuttling some 13 big solar plants and wind farms planned for the region." – – Plus the Kennedy’s stopped a wind farm in Massachusetts.
