Green was the new black this week when Vancouver hit the runway at the first ever Eco Fashion Week presented by Aveda. This week showcased a new generation of designers that are trying to change the way we think about clothing by reinventing eco-friendly fashion. Nowhere on the catwalk were ill-fitted hemp dresses completely devoid of color or the Birkenstocks of yesteryear. Instead, models strutted their stuff in beautiful flowy dresses and impeccably tailored sportswear that radiated sophistication and femininity.
