It is basically a Garter Snake…follow what HyperDog suggested. But heck, why not let it stay in the barden eating bugs and small frogs as it was happy doing before? just sayin’….leave the serpent alone…

Under logs, in holes under rocks, under buildings, mostly under stuff or in cavities between stuff where it’s dry and where the temperature swings are moderated (snakes function best when warm, not hot or cold).
