    That’s the thing though, we love the concept. Notice how he downsized his square footage GRADUALLY, plus the childhood spent cleaning a house that his parents could barely afford to heat. You can drone on about green this and earth that, but at the end of the day if you want to build wealth and are willing to compromise living standards, go for it. I wouldn’t go this small, but Tumbleweed’s got other, bigger plans you can go with. I’d do it.

  3. @MckyMseNTarotCrds Did you miss the point of him getting married and having a child basically forcing him to have a large space?

  4. i would panic every time i enter that place XD i mean there’s small and then there’s this :O

  5. @MckyMseNTarotCrds I have to agree with you about all his reasons even if I love the idea of living it. I found his site and then found this video and I love the concept of being able to up and move even though I am sure a trailer would do well in most of this.

    @rayva1

    LOL, when the tiny house on wheels crashes on the fence is because there was some action in the bed, ha ha ha, ridiculous, the plumbing is a bucket

    @lifehackertips

    LOL, or go to PETCO and buy a kennel if you want a tiny house

  8. In the summer I live in a small house, 96 feet square. I do a lot of things outdoors. It’s called a ‘camp trailer’, and I picked it up in perfect condition for $300. It’s already got all the stuff this guy showed and more, and I don’t have to crawl up a ladder and shove myself up under the roof to go to bed.

    So, what was this guy selling, again?

  9. @evilvlien naw, it’s more like 72.5 square meters, and one round meter for the electricity.

  10. @stidham07 Prices vary in region per quality of materials, and in some places the cost can easily be 3x more.

  11. @MckyMseNTarotCrds thought the same thing. Not sure about people loving their prisons, spending half your life to pay off something you only enjoy when you sleep in it is a lot of crap, but I think it’s awful he’s braggin on his 100 sq ft house only to say “I’m having a baby, so I put a 500 sq ft house next door”. WTF?!? This is like braggin on ur electric car and driving the SUV all the time! This guy is a fraud.

    Him = 100 sq ft
    Wife + baby = 500 sq ft

    …. wtf?

  12. @kirstendirksen $45,000?!? Just get a mobile home.

    If you want a tiny house go to Home Depot and buy a 100 sq ft shed for $650!!
