I was… I just did not see the connection of why God would want us to do all of that. New names? Handshakes? Strange hipnotic movie? New mormon underwear after? What about whats in your heart? He knows that right?

I tried for years to make sence of it.
IMO..most are a bit embarrased by it, but will never admit it here.

They don;t want to spill nay flour or egg on their nice temple cloths, they must bake something so thye need the apron and the bakers hat. LOL

I wonder if Aaron and the Levites were embarassed by their clothing they wore in the temple….

I doubt it. They are reminders of where the group came from. They would wear them with pride. Funny clothing? I think you might want to rephrase that. Maybe to them what you wear are funny? I think those garments are really fascinating from a historical and design point of view…

I am not embarassed for myself. I am however a bit alarmed at the degree of others’ interest in matters not their concern.
