are the government deliberately preventing elctric cars and more "green" ways of living because of profits?

profits from tax, gas bills ect ect.

cos electirc cars are surely available. its like they plan on taxing us by using more energy, yet they wont invest or take interest in greener ways of living. the government in england is pooor, we need to be more like the german government is in my opinion

  1. No, I think it’s because nobody is buying them. If electric cars were in as much demand as hybrids are, they would be more available.

Now, do YOU have an electric car?

  2. Its not government per say. Its the lobbyist and Pacs. Who
in turn buy the vote to get this slowed down and scraped.

  3. And how exactly are you going to charge an electric car using electricity from your home which is powered by a power plant using oil or coal. The government doesn’t control how much things cost they actually give incentives so if you buy solar panels for your house you get a huge tax break.

  4. It seems like it now and again, but who knows. Its difficult to COMPLETELY convert energy sources, but you’re right, there is definitely more our government could be doing.
