I find it insulting! They put out more pollution with their private jets, limos, and tour buses than we ever will.

Something tells me deep down, they don’t care much either way. I’m a big fan of both . . . as musicians . . . but that’s all they are. They are not really a reliable source for global politics. I can only guess this is something their record companies thought would be a good publicity move to help sell more records and they just went along with it. And even if they do believe in it, I’m guessing they only know the basic BS that we hear in the media and government without actually looking at what the cause really entails. And you’re right, it is hypocritcal, kind of like Al Gore.
