I am making a solar oven, and need to know how much solar energy will be hitting my area.
I live in notherern ontatio Cananada, and want to know how much more solar energy hits mid-usa compared to my region?
Also if i am cooking with it in northern ontario how much longer should i cook for, than said in the recipie for a normal oven?
"Ontario and Quebec have abundant solar energy resources at their disposal, especially southern Ontario that has potential to produce approximately 100 gigawatts of solar power."

7.
Canada receives on average 1 to 2 kWh/m2/day.
Mid USA east coast receives on average 3 to 4 kWh/m2/day.
You would also need to take into consideration the season and location of when the recipe was made.
