Oh-yeah at present there are no such green colonies, but a lot of research is going on to sustain life this way. People living in the jungles of say, Amazon are living a life without such modern things…let’s see what comes up in the future!

Currently I believe they’re are none is existence..I know it sucks. But hopefully in the future, cities such as the one you described will be a possibility for everyone! The greenest city in the US is Portland, Oregon. The greenest place on Earth is Reykjavik, Iceland!
