Tiny string of green burrs that sticks to all clothing, in Midwest?

I hear "stick tights", Burdock, Cockle-bur, and Beggars tick. I think I found it, but want to be sure. Is it American Stickseed (Hackelia deflexa)? I found other Hackelia with different second names for other regions, too. ??? …. Thanks in advance!

  1. Yes, common names can very by region for the same plant. And conversely, the same common name will be used in different areas to refer to completely different species.

The Hackelia sounds right, because it is very small. Burdock’s burs are much larger. They many be called "stick tights" in your area, or any number of other names. And also may carry another common name in another areas. I’ve seen one plant have a couple DOZEN different common names – depending on where you are.
