With global warming at the top of the agenda at next week’s sustainable energy summit in Rio, even war-torn Somalia has embraced renewable energy. Funded by Norway, a project is underway to provide solar power to the capital Mogadishu.Duration: 00:38
I am proud of Mogadishu for adopting this solar-powdered project ahead of many cities around the continent like Nairobi…
Great news.
Wow – this is great. Big thanks to Norway for providing solar energy!
Thnk you Norway…Somalia has got many negative names but i am sure my country has great potential and can be next Singapore in the Horn.
They’re installing solar powered lights because the electricity infrastructure isn’t reliable, not because of any global warming concerns.
thank you norway
