The standard rate for grid-feed is 40-45c/KwH, but I have stuck a deal with Tru-energy (please DO NOT tell this to ANYBODY, I’ll get shot for this), I can get a kick-back PLUS your mum and dad can get about 51/52c/kwH paid back to them by way of credits against their power bill, PLUS a FREE bi-directional meter installed by Energex (I can arrange to get this done FOR FREE – save $800-900’ish !!!
@zimma99 – solar hot water is what they appear to have, looking at their roof. I can personally arrange to get them a $5000 to $9000 rebate from the Government, PLUS since they’re hardly ever home doing the day, I’m 100% sure I can ELIMINATE their power bill altogether because I can arrange things so thay can BUY power from their energy provider for around 19c per kWh, but when they’re not home, they can feed the excess energy their solar panels generate in their absence for over 50c/Kwh !!!!!
