It is here to stay.
It really is common sense. Three hundred years ago everyone lived ‘green’, that was the norm and there was no special name for it. But now after humans messed up so bad, everyone is trying to go back to common sense that is lacking these days.

The ideas around green living have been around forever. But promoting "Green Living" is a fad designed to encourage consumers to focus more on how their daily habits affect the planet on an environmental as well as financial standpoint. The fad of "Green Living" will be around for quite some time as people are now starting to realize that the longer term effects are good for conserving on energy as well as their wallets.

Here to stay, in my opinion. It’s more of a fad now, but as soon as it becomes widespread, it’s not going anywhere, because green living involves simple adaptations to people’s lifestyles that will become long-term habits…

I think as time progresses.. it will become more aware that it should stay. I know this whole "green" movement seems unnecessary, but the more we conserve the less we will have to worry about it in the near future.

People always love saving money.
So when they can reduce the amount of energy they need to heat/cool their homes it makes both environmental and economical sense.
Green living is here to stay.

First the concepts aren’t new, some of us have been doing these things for decades. The only thing that is new is the label and that will go away and it will be called something else. The words Green and Carbon Footprint have been over used and people are tired of them. Many of us have had our eyes opened and wouldn’t go back to using harmful products or energy hogs.
