home power line: yellow/green is for Grounding, how about black and white, or brown and blue?

Sorry, I might made a mistake, actually,my home power line is Red,yellow/green,and black. I try to connect to a sensor light, that comes with Brown,Green/yellow, and blue line, that’s why I get confused.I am in Australia.

  1. Black is a hot 120 volt lead, and white is the neutral. Ground is green (not yellow). Sorry, I think brown and blue vary depending on where you are, but others may say differently.

  2. Green with yellow stripe is ground.
    Black is hot.
    White is neutral.
Blue and brown are possibly hot also. Your best bet is to get a meter and check between white and blue, and between white and brown.
