Looking for information on house at 1311 south green rd., south euclid, ohio, built in 1927, supposedly the first house on green rd.

  1. My Mother-in-law has one here in Arkansas. Kit was purchased and assembled about 30 years ago.

  2. unknown to many people is the fact that most of the buildings in the OLD WEST 1865 and onward were precut kits shipped via the railroads. This is not a new invention. that goes from houses to jails to barns etc. even outhouses.

  3. Again TeKe is correct..they were kit homes BUT …I am not sure what your question is…Are you looking for info on that particular house or Sears Roebuck homes in general???

    I once visited a saloon in Sandy Valley, NV that was quite proud of the fact their establishment was a Sears kit.

  5. No ..they were sold by sears the buyer had to build it themselves.and they are all over the country
