This is part 1 of a complete panel video. There will be three inexpensive options of panel sealing.

  1. you need to wet your iron with solder makes it even quicker
I am going to steal your tape idea 🙂

  2. Solar is crap unless of course you live in the wild! Visit WITTS! Don’t waste your time. Solar is a scam for now.ti will take another ten years to be worth it. DO THE MATH

  3. @killerbee04x EMP maybe not, solar flare proof, yes. Because a solar flare affects the power grids blowing up substations.

  4. I to would like to know where you had purchase your panels from, I would like to link my solar light to one battery and one big panel to get most of the sun from, some of my lights r on because of the direction of the sun

  5. @GREENPOWERSCIENCE where did you buy your solar panels for such a chap price?, ive been looking around and reserching about solar energy it would be really helpful if you could tell where i could buy them .im currently doing a science fair project and and have to work on the cheap pleas help.

  6. TO Greenpowerscience: do these cells ever fail and need replaced? What is the life expectancy of one? If you enclose it in resin, you cant replace them, correct?

  7. @jmugrad1 The tabs they come with are attached to the front of the cells. The soldering is hooking those front tabs to the back of the next cell. The cells are all hooked up so that the front of one is soldered to the back of the next. Tabs at the ends are hooked to the another string or a charge controller. Each cell is half a volt so you need a bunch in series to get the voltage you need to charge a 12 volt battery. Most panels have extra to handle low sun days and charge to 14 volts.

  8. LOL IS IT EMP PROOF. ????? I DON’t WHAT A SOLAR FLARE TO KILL MY ONLY POWER. I’ll go with tesla megnet motor and wind and solar. never deploy all at once. Remember we are in the Photon Belt NASA says we are in for the next 1,500 to 2,500 years. SO YES i’ll Buy THE PARTS THAT I CAN TAKE A PART. I can’t take a part what you are doing. One EMP it’s worthless. SO HERE IS THE SECRET..TESLA COILS. YOU ATTACH A TESLA COIL TO EVERY CELL. NO NEED FOR WIRES THAT WILL BURN UP.

  9. @bnewton81 We think and we are on the same frequency, my unknown friend, I hope in the near future there will be more and more people who think like you and me, and especially those who we have for our “leaders”,many greetings from Macedonia!

  10. Don’t you have to solder one cell to the positive side and the following cell to the negative side?
From this video, it seems that you solder everyone of your cells to the same side.
    Please explain???

  11. 1000 watt broken cell kit on ebay for $260 +$90 shipping.
250 Watt panels here are $600 to $700 … massive saving for just having to solder them together 🙂

hmm $350 per kilowatt or $2000 ? the difference between broken and not broken…. daaaaamn

  12. Aw you know that was cool of you to admit your mistake dude. If more people had the guts to be like that the world would be better. Still you managed to get the point across teaching by letting us experience your mistakes and successes with you. Good on you! Now I want to make my own stuff, thanks for the help.

  13. lol. I’m actually REALLY glad you SHOWED the mistake you made… because now I’m aware I need to take extra care.

  14. @jeta45 EBAY. look for solar cells. You should find what you are looking for. Tons of sellers have bulk lots and kits.

  15. the technology to save our planet is out there and has been out there for over a hundred years. We just need to the “want” to save our world more than we want a new ipod.
