My living room is mint green and you can see the entrance to the kitchen. What is a good kitchen color….?

  1. Go to Lowes and look for a tempered sage green…this is a soft beautiful green. I’ve used this color with green apple and another dark green in my home. These colors are in three room and can be seen from any of the three rooms. I’ve gotten a lot of complements using these colors.

  2. Well, I have my kitchen, beige and a sage green. I like these colors b/c you can use any decor with it and it usually matches. I have seen several people with a lighter burgandy, and tan, or some people go with yellow to brighten it up, That is what my mother did, but if I did do yellow, I would make it a very pale yellow.

  3. maybe a nice soft coordinating yellow color? or something with brown tones (tans), but it would need to coordinate nicely. perhaps even a darker shade of green?

  4. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I suggest a blue like "hinting blue" (# 6519). It’s a very modern color for kitchens according to HGTV.
