One of Toledo’s city parks may be going green. City council’s utilities and public service committee met Monday to discuss the possibility of creating a solar energy field at Collins Park. Plans are already in the works to put a wind turbine there. Solar panels would create an additional source of green energy, but it won’t happen soon.
