Does it seem strange NYC is considered by some the best place for Green Living?

  1. In general densely populated areas are easier on the planet. People use public transit more and walk more in urban environments etc. With the cost of housing so high, people have smaller living spaces. Multifamily housing is also more energy efficient.

  2. I am sure things have changed since we saw New York City as a tired and smoggy place around the turn of the century up until the 60’s.
Being the best is a little surprising for me though.
Somehow with a little cooperation from the amount of people living there though not impossible to think that couldn’t happen.
If mankind could do this to improve the environment as a collective whole, then think about other problems they could help eradicate as well if they so choose to do so.
A dream becomes reality when it is joined with the will of GOD through the hands of man.
