I am a Canadian Citizens with a Green Card living in the United States, can I travel to Puerto Rico?

Can I use a Green Card if I have a Green Card to travel to Puerto Rico without needing a Passport?

  1. you actually only need a driver’s license or any other form of government issued id to travel to puerto rico.

puerto rico is a US territory… so really, if you go there, you haven’t really left the US. same goes to going to the US virgin islands or guam. it’s considered a domestic flight.

but you should have your green card with you at all times. you are not supposed to go anywhere without it. you can use that as your government issued id in traveling to puerto rico. but nope, no passport needed.

  2. You do not need a passport to go to Puerto Rico, and your green-card should be enough to return to the US, but I would carry a Canadian passport anyway.
