COMOX VALLEY – Schools in the Comox Valley are searching out alternative energy options, and one elementary school is making the switch to solar power. Huband Park Elementary School won a recent district-wide “green challenge”, and the prize was a set of solar panels. Now the school is shrinking its electricity bill and expanding its environmental knowledge.
